Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Halloween Night– (ft Design Sticker Store)

Since Halloween is this week I went full out Halloween in both my planners. I am in love with this Halloween Night kit from the Etsy shop Design Sticker Store. It is so cute and definitely shouts Halloween. And since purple is my favorite color I love the purple and black mixed in with the more traditional orange colors. The price of the kit was $1.80.

The one thing I wish I would have done differently is that I really wish I would have lined the bottom washi that came with the kit at the bottom of the page and used the washi tape above it rather than the way I did it. Then I would have been covering the washi tape with the dinner stickers and not any of the cute clip art from the kit. Not a huge deal but a regret none the less.

The only sticker I needed to bring in was some habit trackers. I got these from a multi-color sheet from the Etsy shop- Thankis Digital Art, unfortunately it appears they are no longer on Etsy. I am so glad I got that sheet, I use it a lot. I am really sad to find the shop has closed. I purchased a lot of my sticker sheets from them.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for thischannel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Fall Forest– (ft Planner Problem 101)

This week I am using a free kit from Planner Problem 101 called Fall Forest in my Happy Planner. I love this kit with its fall colors.

Planner Problem 101 has some wonderful and generous kits, this one has a total of 7 pages. The main kit has 6 pages then there is an additional Sampler Page besides. The kit has specific pages for both the Erin Condren and the Happy Planner so you can print the pages that are sized to your planner. These are some of the reasons this has become one of my favorite sources of free printable planner stickers. Be sure to check the site out if you haven't recently.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Cozy Fall– (ft Pansy's Prints)

I feel like it has been forever since I even planned in my planners. I was out of ink for my printer and then there was a huge mix-up with the order and it never came to me. I ended up buying ink when I went to town to get groceries this morning. Hopefully I can get some ink ordered and delivered before this batch runs out.

This week we are in full fall mode in my Recollections Planner and I love it. This kit is from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Pansy's Prints. I not only love how the kit looks but I also have to say I love the price, $2.75.

I didn't need any extra stickers at all this week so the kit is being shown in all it's glory. I can't wait to add some of the cute decorative stickers as the week goes by too. They really add to the look of the spread but I don't like to put them in until I can see how full the day is going to be.

My 2018 Planners

I went shopping for my 2018 planners the other day and I decided to do a quick video showing what I decided to get.

I am especially happy with the Happy Planner I was able to find. I went to the store with a couple of requirements for my Happy Planner. I wanted to have the weekends not be color blocked. I get so frustrated with my current Happy Planner because the weekend days are colored and it makes getting the kits I use difficult some weeks. Either I have to cover the days up entirely with sticker paper, I have to pick kits that are that color or I have to ignore the fact my weekend days clash with the rest of the spread. I have done all three of these this year and I am tired of it. I was able to find two vertical planners that had the weekends white on the weekly spread but only this one that the monthly spread also had the weekend days in white. This planner is about as close to a neutral planner as Happy Planner gets I think. There is a rainbow color scheme going throughout but it is subtle and should be easy to cover up. I was hoping for black disks for the binding but the white is good too. At least it isn't pink. The day I went shopping the planners were on sale and I paid $17.99 for my Happy Planner.

My Recollections Planner, well it is a good thing I wasn't looking for much in the way of what I was looking for. This was the only vertical version they had and they only had 3 of them on the shelf. That was after I looked all over the store to even find them. They weren't even near the rest of the planners, I was beginning to think they were sold out. Since all the planners were on sale on the day I went shopping I also paid $17.99 for this the Recollections Planner. I am just happy to be able to get the Recollections Planner again this year. I really do like the planner I have this year. I think I prefer it to the Erin Condren I had for 2015/2016. And I love the difference in price.

So those are my planners for next year, what did you get?
