Plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner -Stars N' Stripes– (ft Vintage Glam Studio)

A couple of days before I was gathering up my stickers for this week I noticed that Vintage Glam Studio had posted this free kit for the Mini Happy Planner in honor of Memorial Day. I decided I had to use it. It is perfect for the week. It would work well for the week of the 4th of July also.

If you haven't found Vintage Glam Studio's site you will find it here. She has an amazing number of free printable kits for many sizes of planner. She has some non planner things too. I try to check what she new things she has posted on at least once a week.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner -Mermaid– (ft Spot On Prints)

I decided to go with a kit with softer colors this week in my Happy Planner and I think I found the perfect one. I love the colors most of all but the mermaid theme is also just soooo pretty. I love how the mermaids are definitely there and center stage without being over the top. They are really only present on two of the boxes (there are also some half and quarter boxes they appear on that might get added later) Mostly the designs are graphic and just designs but the theme is still obvious. The water color look is perfect too.

I got this kit from Spot On Prints on Etsy and the 2 pages were $2.95 there are a lot of stickers on those two pages too. I love shops that really make use of the entire page for the stickers.

When I went to the Etsy shop to grab the link for this blog I got to looking around and I found a bunch more kits I am going to “need” to get in the near future too. I think this is going to end up being on of my very favorite shops in a very short time.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Clouds– (ft Stick to the Plans)

This week for my Recollections Planner I picked out this gorgeous kit from The Etsy shop
Stick to the Plans. I love the hot air balloon theme and the soft colors along with the watercolor look is fantastic. I can't wait to start using the spread.

One thing I love about this kit is how many stickers were packed onto the two pages. There were way more stickers than I have sometimes gotten in 3 page kits. So big points for no wasted space on the pages.

I only needed to add dinner stickers and my habit tracker. I know a lot of you could probably have gotten by with just what is on the kit. And since the kit includes a sheet of glitter headers in addition to the two pages and there are 2 weekend banners I am betting a white space planner could easily get two weeks out of this kit.

The stickers I added were from the following shops on Etsy.

Habit tracker from Ruby Red Iris Print Shop

Dinner stickers from Sweety Stickers

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –June Monthly– (ft Best Printables 4U)

For the monthly spread in my Recollections Planner I picked out a printable kit from Best Printables 4U on Etsy. It has a fun beach theme and it goes so nicely with the existing color on the pages.

I like to decorate the monthly pages but I don't tend to use them at all. They are really just there to look at. I am hoping to go back to the monthly pages at the end of the month (or maybe even during future months) and fill in things that did happen. I am not sure.

Anyway I do love how this kit looks on the page. The only thing that really bothers me (and it is minor) is the space where I had to use the small box over the strip over the last days of the month of May. The scene doesn’t like up as well as I would have liked. I wish there had been a strip to cover 4 days not just the one to cover 3 and a bit of another day. I don't remember how the photo on the shop showed this set up. I just assumed that I would be covering all the days outside of the month.

I do remember that in the photos it was shown as an almost no white space monthly layout. Some days just have a small bit of decor in them but every day has some kind of sticker in it.

The only stickers I added were the 2 little house stickers that I use to denote the weekends my son doesn't go to his dad's house. Those were from Pretty Stock on Etsy.

Plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner –Gift– (ft BEaYoutiful Planning)

This week for my mini happy planner I found this beautiful kit from BEaYoutiful Planning. I love almost all the kits that this designer does. This one is from her free site but I have purchased from her Etsy store also.

I love both floral and wood grain so this kit was perfect this week.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Preppy– (ft Planner Problem 101)

This week in my Happy Planner I settled on a free printable kit from Planner Problem 101. I did have to do a bit of scrolling to find this one. Mainly I was looking for a kit that contained a lot of blue. I was hoping for more of a peach color for the secondary color but this one was soo pretty I picked it. In my defense it did bit a bit more on the peach side on my computer monitor than it printed out.

I do love how it looks and I can't wait to see how it works out by the end of the week.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Blue and Pink Floral– (ft the Wanderlust Planner)

This week in my Recollections Planner I am using this really pretty Blue and Pink Floral kit from the Etsy shop The Wanderlust Planner. If you have ever watched my Plan with Me's you know how much I love a good floral kit. This one is just about perfect. And it was only $2.77!

I did have to add a couple of stickers. Since I like to have the 3 heart checklists in the top section I raided my stash for some from the Etsy shop Luna Paper Prints, unfortunately when I tried to get the link for you I found the shop is no longer on Etsy. I am sure you can similar checklists from several shops.

The other sticker I felt the need to add was one of my 4 Habit trackers from Ruby Red Iris Prints. I get so much use out of this sheet of stickers I am so glad I purchased it.

I can't say enough about the weekend banner in this kit! It is gorgeous. I am just glad I didn't want to add date covers since it is so big. It definitely makes a statement at the top of the page this week.

Plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner -Tea Time– (ft Vintage Glam Studio)

For my Mini Happy Planner this week I had a little trouble finding what I really wanted. I wondered all over Etsy looking at kit after kit and nothing really grabbed me. Then I took a look at Vintage Glam's blog and came across this beautiful violet teatime themed kit. I happen to love this clip art/digital paper. I actually purchased the paper and clip art last year for a project. And since purple is my favorite color I decided I had to go with this kit this week. The fact that it is a free download just makes it even better.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Cupcakes– (ft Miss Printable Studio)

This week in my Happy Planner I went in search of a kit that would coordinate with the existing colors in my planner. That means a lot of peach and blue tones. I found this cupcake theme kit and since it went pretty well I went with it. I do like the colors and design it is and I think the theme will be a fun one for the week.

I found this kit at the Etsy shop Miss Printable Studio and it only cost $2! I love a good deal and I was able to make a complete spread without adding any other stickers so I am happy.

I didn't realize that I had used up my last sheet of matte paper until I went to print my stickers. I was sure there was another packet in my drawer, I did have this old package of gloss paper that I bought a couple of years ago when I first started printing my own stickers. It is crappy paper but it will have to do for this week. I think the stickers would have looked a lot better on better paper.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner – Wonderland– (ft Planning Choco)

This week in my Recollections Planner I decided to go with a fun Alice in Wonderland theme. This is actually the very same clip art/digital paper as my March monthly spread. I loved that spread so much and since I really don't look at my monthly spreads very much I wanted to use the same art work again in a weekly spread so that I could actually enjoy looking at it. I found this printable kit from the Etsy shop Planning Choco and it is fantastic. I didn't even need to add any extra stickers to make the layout that I like to use.

I am really looking forward to being able to enjoy looking at this spread throughout the week.

Plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner –Watercolor Roses– (ft Willow Tree Designs)

This week in my Mini Happy Planner I wanted to use a kit with lots of flowers. It is spring and it is finally feeling like spring here. Also the 14th is Mother's Day here in the U.S. so I thought flowers were very fitting.

The kit I am using is from Willow Tree Designs on Etsy and it so pretty. The price was only $1.95 so it was very affordable as well as very pretty. The only complaint I have with the kit is that the shop didn't put their name on the page. I always prefer to have the shop name on the page of the kit. I am completely okay with a tiny bit less white space or even a sticker of two fewer if the shop name is easy to find. By the time I went to use the kit I had no idea what shop it was from so I had to do the extra step of looking it up. I think the shop would do well to add their name to the page. I know I am more apt to go back to a shop that I can remember.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner – Spring Wishes– (ft Pansy Prints)

This week for my Happy Planner I picked this beautiful kit from Pansy Prints on Etsy. I love the colors and design is perfect for a spring week. Since the colors of the kit are similar to the colors that are in my Happy Planner the printed areas that do show look like they belong. Overall this week looks like it all goes together.

The kit had lots of stickers to choose from and I love how my week came together. I was able to set up the week without pulling in any stickers from other sources and I feel it will work really well.

I did do some experimenting on how I handled the lower two boxes this week. So far I love how it looks and I think it will function really well too. I like to use a decorative box on each day but because the Happy Planner has no breaks between the days that can look really heavy and cluttered when I run the boxes all the way across. I hope the way I placed them this week will work well because I like more “airy” feel it gives.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –May Monthly– (ft Design Lovely Studio)

This month I found this really pretty kit from Design Lovely Studio on Etsy. I love how the colors go with with the colors that are in the Recollections Planner. The floral design makes me think of May and I absolutely love the little humming bird on the box I used to cover up the last day in the month of April. I am really hoping to find a humming bird themed weekly kit for sometime in the month of May.

This kit was maybe a little light in some of the types of stickers that I know some of you are looking for in a monthly kit but for how I use the monthly pages it was great. I really don't track a lot on here. Mostly I want my monthly kit to make the pages look pretty. I reserve the tracking function for the weekly pages. On that note I would love to find some monthly kits that have some kind of décor for that side bar. I seldom remember to fill out those check boxes that I put on there anyway.

The only stickers I added this time were my little houses that I use to track which weekend my son is home (as opposed to at his dad's house) Those came from the Esty shop Pretty Stock.

Plan with me in my Mini Happy Planner – May Monthly– (ft BEaYOUtiful Planning)

For my Mini Happy Planner I went in search of a May monthly kit and really didn't find much that really spoke to me. (at least not at a price I wanted to pay) So I did the logical thing I decided to search for a free monthly kit and I found this one! I love it but, I almost always love the kits from BEaYOUtiful Planning both the free ones and the ones in the Esty shop.

One of the great things about this kit (besides the fact it is free) is that it comes in multiple sizes. You can download not only the Mini Happy Planner size that I am using but also ones sized for the Happy Planner and the Erin Condren.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Citrus Glitter– (ft Planner Problem 101)

I actually found this kit a couple of weeks ago on the website Planner Problem 101. I think it was the same day I was searching for free printable date covers for the Happy Planner. I love how bright and cheerful the colors are in this kit. It really reminds me of Cinco de Mayo without all the décor. Since I use my Happy Planner as basically a work planner it don't usually use much in the way of deco items. I do love color (and pattern) in it though. Since this is the first week of May I knew I wanted to use it this week.

I am not totally happy with the way I used the full glitter boxes. I liked the boxes so much last week and I wanted to do something similar this week. I think if I had lifted the boxes that were up a bit more (maybe even an inch or so) it would have looked like what I wanted. Hopefully I will remember to do that next time I am using boxes that are actually sized for the Happy Planner.
