Plan with me in m Happy Planner –Thanksgiving–

This week I decided to offer another free printable via my blog for the Happy Planner. I love Thanksgiving and my birthday is this week too so I thought those were the perfect excuses. I am sorry it is kind of late for this year but I just didn't get it finished in time for last week.

The kit is 3 pages and made to fit the Happy Planner. I hope you enjoy the kit and let me know how it worked for you.

You can find page 1 here.

I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Autumn– (ft Bling Bling Planner)

This week in my Recollections Planner I am using a kit from Bling Bling Planner called Autumn. Since this is the week of Thanksgiving it will probably be the last fall themed kit of the year. Time to start thinking about Christmas themed kits now.

The one thing I have trouble with when using kits from Bling Bling Planner is that they aren't consistent in what they include. It can be confusing to say the least. With most shops you can be pretty sure what the kits will have, unless there has been a redesign of the kits. That is because most shops I am sure make a basic template and work from it. Just filling in with the digital paper designs and clip art and changing the colors to go with each kit. It seems like every kit I get from this shop is pretty different.

This time I was in need of both meal stickers and hydrate stickers. Luckily I had those in my stash.

The meal ones I used were from Sweety Stickers on Etsy.

The sidebar hydrate sticker is from a shop that doesn't seem to be on Etsy any more.

This kit also only had the check flags but no full boxes for the to do section. Since it did have full size boxes with the middle whited out I am going to attempt to use those for my to do lists. We shall see next week if that worked. I did find a single ombre checklist to use in the sidebar, it was a lone sticker in my leftover Happy Planner stickers so I have no idea where it came from. Probably a kit I used at some point but I have no idea what one or where it was from.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Thanksgiving Kit Freebie

I decided to write a separate blog post about this since my Plan with Me won't be going up until Wednesday of this week. I created a Thanksgiving week Happy Planner kit and it is free with the links below. It is in a 3 page format and I hope you enjoy it.

I decided to do this for several reasons. First I just wasn't finding a Thanksgiving weekly kit that I really loved. Second I decided to do it as kind of celebration of my birthday this week. And finally I am trying to practice making kits because I would like to open a sticker shop on Etsy and I figure practicing on free kits is a good way too work on skills.

That being said if you have suggestions for improvements please let me know. I would love some constructive criticism. I already have made a note to try to improve/change the font on the sidebar headers, I know it is really hard to read. I do love the font so maybe I can come up with a way to make it stand out more.

So have fun with the printable and be sure to show me a picture of your spread if you use it.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Fashion Fall– (ft Design Sticker Store)

This week for my Happy Planner I was once again trying to find a sticker kit that would coordinate with the existing pink in the Happy Planner and still be fall themed. I think this Fall Fashion kit from Design Sticker Store does a pretty good job. It isn't exactly the same pink as in the planner but it blends nicely, better in person than on the video or the photos actually.

This was a very small kit, only one page so it wouldn't be the choice of someone that wanted a no white space look but I find no white space a bit much in the Happy Planner anyway, I did add some date covers, they were from My Planner Envy a great site for free printable planner stuff. There were even matching habit trackers included.

I also added a strip of gold washi tape to cover the bottom header strip in the planner.

I think the only thing I wish had been in the kit would be one more decorative box and maybe one more ombre checkbox. That being said I am very happy with how the spread turned out without these items so they weren't that big of a deal.

I am not normally a fan of the fashion girl thing but it is not overpowering in this kit so I do like it here.

I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Fall Floral– (ft Ruby Red Iris Prints)

This week I went in search of a fall kit that had some green in the color scheme so that it would blend better with the colors in the Recollections Planner this month. This kit not only hit on the colors I was looking for it also features rain as a theme which is so on topic for fall where I live. Also the price was fantastic at only $1 it was a no brainer for this week. The kit is from Ruby Red Iris Prints on Etsy, I know I have featured this shop before on this channel. Be sure to follow the link and check out the stickers over there.

I did decide to add date covers since the green in the kit wasn't a great match for the green in the planner, these are from I Love 2 Print also on Esty.

I also added some hydrate stickers to the week since I really find them helpful to me. The shop I got these from doesn't seem to be open at the moment but I know there are lots of hydrate stickers on Etsy.

I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –November– (ft Beayoutiful Planning )

This month in my Happy Planner I decided to use the monthly freebie over on the Beayoutiful Planning website. I love the kit and it is so pretty and soft. Since by the end of the month my monthly spreads can get kind of busy I am really ready for a break from the bright colors I have used in the past several months.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –November– (ft Design Lovely Studio)

This month in my Recollections Planner I decided to go very traditional for my November Monthly Spread. I really love this kit from Design Lovely Studio with all the fall colors and traditional Thanksgiving/harvest motifs. The price of the kit was $2.30 so a really good deal too.

The only thing that I wanted to add was a notes page kit. Since I also love the clip art that Beayoutiful Planning chose for her free monthly kit I decided to use the notes page from that in my planner. I was torn between the two kits so this way I get both of them in this planner. (I also used the Beayoutiful Planning monthly kit in my Happy Planner)

I don't really track a lot in my monthly spreads so the typical sidebar that is included in most kits is wasted in my planner. A couple of weeks ago I realized that instead of putting all those lists over in the sidebar that I never use I could use some of the decorative boxes that are included in a lot of kits. I don't usually use those either but many times they are so pretty I hate to skip them. Now I have a place to use them and I don't feel pressured to think of something to try to list in the sidebar.

I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Halloween– (ft Plan With Samia)

This week I am using Halloween themed kits in both my planners. For my Happy Planner I picked this cute Halloween kit from the Esty Shop Plan with Samia. I am pretty sure this is the first time using a kit from this shop and I will definitely be shopping there again. This kit is so cute and very easy to work with. There are plenty of stickers on the two pages for my weekly plans. The cost of the kit was great too at only $1.25! I love a good deal so much.

I was concerned at the beginning about how to hide the pink of the Happy Planner with the kit but in the end as soon as I covered the bright pink headers everything came together. The pink on the weekend accented the kit perfectly and brought out the background color of some of the boxes and the date covers.

The only problem I had with the kit was the strip that assume was supposed to go at the bottom of the Monday-Wednesday page was too short. A lot too short but I had some washi to replace it with so it all worked out in the end.

I love the mix of my favorite color (purple) with the bright green that I would probably normally avoid. And can we say enough about the eye balls used on the checklists?? Too cute.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for thischannel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Halloween Night– (ft Design Sticker Store)

Since Halloween is this week I went full out Halloween in both my planners. I am in love with this Halloween Night kit from the Etsy shop Design Sticker Store. It is so cute and definitely shouts Halloween. And since purple is my favorite color I love the purple and black mixed in with the more traditional orange colors. The price of the kit was $1.80.

The one thing I wish I would have done differently is that I really wish I would have lined the bottom washi that came with the kit at the bottom of the page and used the washi tape above it rather than the way I did it. Then I would have been covering the washi tape with the dinner stickers and not any of the cute clip art from the kit. Not a huge deal but a regret none the less.

The only sticker I needed to bring in was some habit trackers. I got these from a multi-color sheet from the Etsy shop- Thankis Digital Art, unfortunately it appears they are no longer on Etsy. I am so glad I got that sheet, I use it a lot. I am really sad to find the shop has closed. I purchased a lot of my sticker sheets from them.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for thischannel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Fall Forest– (ft Planner Problem 101)

This week I am using a free kit from Planner Problem 101 called Fall Forest in my Happy Planner. I love this kit with its fall colors.

Planner Problem 101 has some wonderful and generous kits, this one has a total of 7 pages. The main kit has 6 pages then there is an additional Sampler Page besides. The kit has specific pages for both the Erin Condren and the Happy Planner so you can print the pages that are sized to your planner. These are some of the reasons this has become one of my favorite sources of free printable planner stickers. Be sure to check the site out if you haven't recently.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Cozy Fall– (ft Pansy's Prints)

I feel like it has been forever since I even planned in my planners. I was out of ink for my printer and then there was a huge mix-up with the order and it never came to me. I ended up buying ink when I went to town to get groceries this morning. Hopefully I can get some ink ordered and delivered before this batch runs out.

This week we are in full fall mode in my Recollections Planner and I love it. This kit is from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Pansy's Prints. I not only love how the kit looks but I also have to say I love the price, $2.75.

I didn't need any extra stickers at all this week so the kit is being shown in all it's glory. I can't wait to add some of the cute decorative stickers as the week goes by too. They really add to the look of the spread but I don't like to put them in until I can see how full the day is going to be.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. My 2018 Planners

I went shopping for my 2018 planners the other day and I decided to do a quick video showing what I decided to get.

I am especially happy with the Happy Planner I was able to find. I went to the store with a couple of requirements for my Happy Planner. I wanted to have the weekends not be color blocked. I get so frustrated with my current Happy Planner because the weekend days are colored and it makes getting the kits I use difficult some weeks. Either I have to cover the days up entirely with sticker paper, I have to pick kits that are that color or I have to ignore the fact my weekend days clash with the rest of the spread. I have done all three of these this year and I am tired of it. I was able to find two vertical planners that had the weekends white on the weekly spread but only this one that the monthly spread also had the weekend days in white. This planner is about as close to a neutral planner as Happy Planner gets I think. There is a rainbow color scheme going throughout but it is subtle and should be easy to cover up. I was hoping for black disks for the binding but the white is good too. At least it isn't pink. The day I went shopping the planners were on sale and I paid $17.99 for my Happy Planner.

My Recollections Planner, well it is a good thing I wasn't looking for much in the way of what I was looking for. This was the only vertical version they had and they only had 3 of them on the shelf. That was after I looked all over the store to even find them. They weren't even near the rest of the planners, I was beginning to think they were sold out. Since all the planners were on sale on the day I went shopping I also paid $17.99 for this the Recollections Planner. I am just happy to be able to get the Recollections Planner again this year. I really do like the planner I have this year. I think I prefer it to the Erin Condren I had for 2015/2016. And I love the difference in price.

So those are my planners for next year, what did you get?

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –October Monthly Spread– (ft Beayoutiful Planning)

As I was looking for fun weekly kits for my planners this week I actually found this really cute free monthly kit. I actually used the same kit in both my Happy Planner and my Recollections planners. I love the kits from Beayoutiful Planning, she does a fantastic job of both picking the artwork and designing the kits. This one is no exception. I love that it is available in sizes for both my planners. Since it was so cute I just decided to use it in both.

So what does everyone track in those circles on the notes page?? I have no idea what to put in them but decided to put them in my planner this time. I would love some ideas.

September PinchMe

This month's PinchMe box has some really cool stuff in it. If you haven't signed up with PinchMe go over to their site and sign up right now! I love this site and getting the box in the mail is a little like Christmas every time. I love trying new things and for me writing the reviews is a lot of fun.

So in my box I got:

The Friskies Gravy Swirlers cat food. My cats all loved this sample so it was definitely a winner at my house. I love the fact I got the $1 off coupon with the sample especially since that is one of the brands I do purchase regularly.

Hidden Valley Simply Ranch Dressing is already one of my favorite bottled salad dressings so I know that I will love that one.

The Orbit gum, I wish they would offer a gum that didn't contain the Aspartame since I tend to get migraines from it. I will probably end up tossing it. I tried to not take it but the system wouldn't let me not take the gum sample and still get the box.

The Zzzquil, I get this product in about half my boxes. It does come with a $2 off coupon but truthfully I have never purchased it because I have a ready supply coming from PinchMe and I only use it very rarely.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for thischannel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. I will be announcing all the videos and blog posts there so it will make it easier to catch all of them. I hope to get the conversation going too so feel free to stop by and say howdy any time.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Fall in Love– (ft I Love 2 Print)

This week I found this gorgeous fall leaves themed kit from I Love 2 Print on Etsy. I actually fell in love with this artwork a while ago when I saw her September monthly kit that also features it. Unfortunately for me I had already decorated my monthly spread at that point. I was so happy when I checked the shop and found a weekly kit available also. This is just a one page kit ($2.40) so it does lack a few things and is probably more suited to a more white space style. I did a quick look at the page and decided the only thing that was really missing was a half box. Since I have some multi-color half boxes I was fine. For the most part I was able to plan my week the way I prefer with what is in the kit. I did substitute the check flags for check-boxes and I needed to switch the “to-do” headers for the “today” ones from how I usually use them. But those things are so minor especially with this wonderful artwork. In the end I decided to use date covers to cover the existing dates in the planner. I was going to leave them but the green was just a bit off for me. I happened to have date covers from the same shop as the kit so that was what I used.

For the half boxes I used some from the shop Planning Choco on Etsy.

Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Harvest– (ft Maritza Dominguez Shop)

This week I am using this beautiful Harvest themed kit from MaritzaDominguez Shop on Etsy. It was on sale for only $2.10 so a fantastic deal for a 3 page kit that even has leftovers and I didn't need to raid my sticker stash to fill in anything. I love that the colors go so perfectly with the Recollections Planner's color this month and that meant that I didn't even need date covers.

I am so happy to be starting to use some fall themed kits, I'm not going full fall theme until it cools off a bit more here though. I think one of the things I love the most about decorating my planner is when the seasons start to change and I feel I can shift to the new season for inspiration in my sticker choices. I love to decorate for all the seasons but I think by the time each season is coming to an end I am more than ready to move onto the themes.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. Plan with me in my Recollections Planner –Cute Forest Fox– (ft Design Sticker Store)

Since are into the month of September now I decided I am not using any more summer kits, it is time to transition into fall kits. However, the weather here is anything but fall like right now. We are in the midst of yet another heat wave. So I just couldn't bring myself to use a kit filled with fall leaves. The cute foxes in this kit are perfect however. I love them! They are adorable and they fit right into moving to fall. This 3 page kit was only $3 from Design Sticker Store on Etsy. I love everything about the kit from the clip art to the colors used.

As I find with most 3 page printable kits I didn't need to add any extra stickers this week. For me anyway 3 page kits are really complete and most of them give me everything I need to decorate the week the way I want to.

As I mentioned in the video I have started a Facebook page for this channel/blog and I would love it if you came over and hit that like button. Plan with me in my Happy Planner –Apple Picking–

Okay, so I was (and still am) very nervous about this Plan with Me. I really hope you guys like my kit that I created and download it. You can do that right here.

If you have suggestions for things you would like to see changed in the kit let me know. I want to create the kits you want to use. I am hoping to to start selling some kits on Etsy soon. I have some things that I am working on for that and have more planned. If there are specific printable sticker items you are looking for talk to me, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks to for watching!
